EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF 500 MW SOLAR PARK IN TAMIL NADU
- Please find enclosed Expression of Interest (EOI) received from Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency (TEDA), the Nodal Agency of Government of Tamil Nadu mandated with promotion of renewable energy in the State of Tamil Nadu.
- Tamil Nadu is not only India’s one of the top industrial states, it also occupies pole position in the country’s renewable energy. Tamil Nadu Vision 2023 envisages 5000 MW of solar power generation by 2023. Already the state has achieved installed capacity of 1575 MW of solar power. To accomplish goals of Vision 2023 and enhance the already installed capacity, TEDA has invited EOI from national and international companies or consortium thereof for establishment of 500 MW solar park in Tamil Nadu. To this effect, TEDA has already issued a Public Notice. A copy of the same is attached herewith.
