Notice regarding Visa/Consular & Passport Services

Further to High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur’s earlier notifications dated 18 March 2020 and 7 May 2020 and 10 June 2020 regarding temporary suspension of regular Visa, Consular and Passport services due to implementation of Movement Control Order (MCO) by the Government of Malaysia.
2.         
 Please be advised that with effect from 22nd June, 2020 all regular Passport / Emergency Certificate and attestation of documents will now be provided through BLS. Those seeking Passport / Emergency certificate and document attestation related services may please contact the BLS at 0326021474 or via email: info.my@blsinternational.net.

3.         Please be advised that due to the volume of applications anticipated for regular passports (caused by suspension of regular passport services from 18 March due to MCO and subsequent restrictions in the wake of COVID-19) , there may be some delay beyond the normal processing time, in the processing of regular passport applications.  

4.         All passport applications, including from East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak) are advised to submit their application with requisite fee to Passport / Consular Services Application Centre (PCSAC) i.e. M/s BLS International Ltd at the address given below:

5.         For Tatkal Passport application, the applicants may kindly approach High Commission of India for appointment via email: cons2.kl@mea.gov.in / cons1.kl@mea.gov.in. On the day of appointment, documents will be scrutinized at the High Commission before deposition of the documents and fees at BLS.

6.         For other Consular and Visa related services and enquiries, applicants are requested to contact the High Commission of India at Email:visa.kl@mea.gov.in. 

7.         Applicants are required to adhere to necessary health / social distancing measures including mask and gloves etc. and strictly maintain an inter-personal distance of one meter while visiting HCI premises.

8.         Please be advised that requests for fresh visa and OCI applications for foreign nationals continue to remain suspended until further notice.
