Nomination under Self Financing Scheme (SFS) for foreign students from developing countries for pursuing MBBS / BDS / B.Engineering / B.Technology / B.Architecture / B.Pharmacy courses in India for academic session 2019-20

The Government of India is inviting applications from Malaysian nationals interested to pursue Bachelor courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Pharmacy in government academic institutions in India for academic intake 2019-20 under the ‘Nomination under Self-Financing Scheme (SFS) for foreign students from developing countries’.

Foreign students having PIO / OCI card, and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) i.e. Indian expatriates are not eligible to apply under this scheme.

Candidates are required to appear in the ‘National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)’ conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission in MBBS / BDS courses in India.

The details of the Eligibility Criteria, and the SFS 2019-20 Application Form can be downloaded from the links given below.  Three identical sets of the duly filled-in application form along with the relevant enclosures (with authentic English translations wherever applicable) must be submitted in-person at the address given below, latest by 30 May 2019:

Submission of an application is not an assurance of nomination.  The selected students are required to bear all expenses on education and airfare, and they must undertake to return to Malaysia upon completion of their studies.  Candidates are expected to comply with admission formalities and procedures of the respective college/university, and may include medical examinations such as AIDS test in India.
