Absconding workers

  • ● Please send a copy of police report, work contract, details of the employer and contact number, Indian passport number of the worker on labour[dot]kl[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in immediately so that the emergency certificate application of the worker, if applied, may be put on hold.
  • ● If the alleged absconding Indian worker approaches the High Commission of India, the employer will be duly informed and called for a meeting along with the worker to understand its cause and to reach a possible resolution in the interest of both parties.
  • ● If the employer doesn’t report within the given time frame, the High Commission of India may proceed with the application of such emergency certificates
