The High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur is please to announce “The Indo Pacific Business Summit” - Developing a Road Map for Shared Prosperity"  is being organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)  in partnership with Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India from 6-8 July 2021,  over a virtual platform.  

Dr.S Jaishankar, Hon’ble Minister of External Affairs, Government of Indiahas kindly agreed to be Chief Guest and deliver the Inaugural Address on 6 July 2021.

Mr Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister of Railways, Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India  has agreed to deliver the Keynote  Address at the  Special Plenary with the Trade Ministers in the Region.
Ms Smriti Zubin Irani, Minister of Textiles and Women and Child Development, Government of India has also confirmed to join this Summit.

 CII have also invited the following Ministers from the Government of India :

  • Mr Nitin Gadkari,Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises andMinister for Road Transport & Highways, Government of India
  • Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Government of India
  • Shri Raj Kumar Singh, Hon'ble Minister of State (IC) (Power, New & Renewable Energy) & Minister of State (Skill Development and Entrepreneurship)
  • Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India

Following Overseas ministers have also confirmed to join and address at the Summit

The Summit  would dwell upon various thematic and sectoral sessions for discussion like physical and digital connectivity, development of robust supply chains, start-ups, healthcare, skilling, climate change and blue economy
