Warning about fake Visa Website: It has come to the notice of the High Commission that various websites which are not authorized by the Government of India have been soliciting visa seekers to apply for Indian visa through their online portal against a service fee. Non–Malaysian Foreign Visa applicants are required to submit an additional form along with the online visa application printout.

Visa applicants are required to complete all fields in the online visa application form correctly and accurately. Incorrect/ incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. Visa fee and service fee are non-refundable.

Visa application printout is required to be signed by the applicant himself/ herself
The validity of Indian visa starts from the date of issue and not from the date of travel to India. Therefore, applicants are required to apply for appropriate validity visa.

Malaysia/Foreign passport holders of Pakistani Origin:Visa will be issued only after receiving necessary clearance/approval from the competent authority. The process may take 12 weeks or more

The High Commission of India does not accept visa applications at its premises, except those requesting for grant of (i) Gratis visas to Non–Malaysian Foreign Visa applicants holding official and diplomatic passports. (Malaysian nationals holding official and diplomatic passports are exempted from requirement of visa.) (ii) Gratis visas for the invitees from the Government of India/State Government bodies and (iii) Emergency basis. Those requesting for grant of gratis visas on official and diplomatic passports and on emergency basis are requested to apply for the Indian Visa through online application link.long with prescribed support documents is to be submitted from 9.30 am to 12 noon on all working days. Emergency visa services are available only on working days.
