Government of Assam, India is organizing ‘Advantage Assam’- the Assam Global Investors' Summit scheduled during 3-4 February 2018 at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati, Assam, India. This summit is the largest ever investment promotion and facilitation initiative by the Government of Assam, India. The Summit aims at highlighting the state’s geo-strategic advantages offered to investors by Assam. Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry, (FICCI) which has been engaged as the Summit Partner, has been entrusted with the organizing of the Summit with support from the State Government. Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has kindly consented to inaugurate the event. 

2.   The event shall showcase the manufacturing prowess and the opportunities offered by the state in terms of export-oriented manufacturing and services to growing economies countries.The Government of Assam shall conduct Roadshows at various locations in both domestic and international locations, to showcase the business potential and investment opportunities in the state. The Government delegates shall also meet the Industry champions for various discussions. The Summit promises to become a major platform for G2B, B2B meetings & display of investment opportunities in the state.

Assam has undertaken a number of initiatives in the recent past towards implementation of Ease of doing business framework, creating an enabling policy framework and development of state-of-the-art Industrial Infrastructure to facilitate companies set-up and do business in the State. Assam’s rapidly growing economy, strategic location and connectivity network make it an ideal staging point for doing business with the ASEAN Countries.
