1. The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India in association with Federations of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is organizing India Chem 2016 from 1st – 3rd September 2016 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, NSE Complex Goregaon, Mumbai, India.

2. India Chem is one of the largest composite events of Chemicals, Petrochemicals and Pharmaceuticals industry of the Asia-pacific region. This spectacular event comprises and international exhibition and a conference of representatives of participating global giants form various associated field. The flagship event, in its 9th Edition, now provides a grand overview of this fast surging major sector of the Indian economy and attracts delegates and visitors, not only from India but also from all major chemical producing countries, thereby providing immense potential for more trade and investment in a mutually beneficial way. It also meets the objective of developing the Indian Chemical Industry and to give impetus to the “Make in India” and “Swatch Bharat (Clean India)” campaign of Government of India.

At successful 2014 edition, 278 companies participated including 114 from 15 countries, with Iran as the Partner Country, Japan was the Guest Country and Gujarat showcased its strength by partnering with the event as the Partner State. The exhibition was well attended by business visitors from more than 50 countries and buying delegations came from UK, Germany, Japan, USA, Iran, UAE, Vietnam, Turkey, China etc. Concurrent events like International conference, buyer-seller meet, CEOs Forum with Hon’ble Minister and business-networking dinner were some of the key highlights of the show.
