Death Compensation

  • ● Foreign workers who are employed legally in Malaysia are generally covered under the applicable compensation and social security provisions, and the employer is responsible for ensuring such coverage in accordance with Malaysian law.

  • ● Foreign workers who are working without valid authorization are generally not eligible for compensation under the Malaysian social security framework. Claims by next of kin: In the event of the death of a legally employed foreign worker, the next of kin may submit a claim for the applicable compensation and benefits.
