1.        The Carpet Export Promotion Council (CECP) is organizing 32nd edition of INDIA CARPET EXPO – one of the largest Handmade Carpet Trade Fairs in the world from 3 – 6 October 2016 at Varanasi, India.

2.         This Exposition which began its maiden journey in the year 2000 is a biannual fair which has traversed a long distance and in the process has mastered the art of serving the discerning needs of contemporary buyers, users and connoisseur of finest handcrafted Indian carpets and other floor coverings.

3.         India is the world’s largest exporter of Hand-made Carpets, Rugs, Druggets and other floor coverings. INDIA CARPET EXPO has established itself as a sourcing platform for the buyers from all over the world. About 280 Manufacturers & Exporters from key Carpet producing areas viz. Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur, Panipat and Srinagar etc. shall be exhibiting wide range of Handmade Carpets, rugs, durries and other floor coverings at this Expo. The Expo provides an excellent opportunity to choose from finest collection lf latest designs and diverse range of products from entire India, that too from a single location i.e. Varanasi, the main production and processing hub.

4.         To facilitate and incentivise buyers, the CEPC is providing the following attractive package to the selected buyers to attend the India Carpet Expo: -

a.            Reimbursement towards Airfare, as a Subsidy, for attending India Carpet Expo, 3-6 October, 2016 to Selected Foreign Buyers of Handmade Carpets/ Rugs etc. as under:

b.         Complimentary hotel accommodation upto 2 nights (Room rent with breakfast) in Varanasi between2nd to 6th October, 2016.

c.         Pick-up & drop from Airport/Hotel/Airport in Varanasi. Buyers have to register themselves in the enclosed form with the Carpet Export Promotion Council latest by 31st August, 2016 for selection for the aforesaid package. Only one person from one Company can avail this offer. After registration, council will communicate to you about your selection. CEPC reserves all right in terms of buyers’ selection and the decision of the Council in this regard will be final.
