1. The Coir Board, under the Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Govt. of India, is organizing the 4th edition of the India International Coir Fair (IICF) from 15 – 18 July, 2016 at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

2. Inspired by the resounding success of the previous three editions, held twice in Kerala and once in New Delhi, the fourth edition of this largest ever showcase of the capabilities of Indian coir sector is proposed to be held with added features in Tamil Nadu, the production hub of Coir fibre and coir pith.

3. The fair aims at building up linkages for market development and expansion of the horizon of coir trade and industry in a multi-dimensional way. It is also proposed to organize Buyer Seller Meets (Domestic and International), Coir Seminars, Investors Meet, All India Road Show, etc. in the IICF-2016. A minimum of 100 buyers from EU, USA, CIS, LAC, Middle East, etc. are proposed to be roped in for the International Reverse Buyer Seller Meet besides innumerable stakeholders like wholesalers, buying agents, traders, etc. for the Domestic Buyer Seller Meet. The fair will present a confluence of manufacturers, exporters, technology providers, machinery manufacturers and importers of coir across the globe.
