India International Mega Trade Fair 2017 

    The “India International Mega Trade Fair” (IIMTF) to be held in Delhi – NCR, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar & Ranchi in India in the year 2017-18 as per the Annual Fair calendar given below. These Fairs are approved by India Trade Promotion Organisation (I.T.P.O), Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. The IIMTF has proved to be a major driving force to promote Trade & Business in the cities in which they are organised. 

2.The IIMTF is the biggest trade fair of Eastern India and a leading Fair in India. It attracts a huge number of visitors including from Foreign Countries, Corporate Companies, Government Ministries/ Departments & PSUs, Business Houses and traders from all over the world. Moreover, a highly effective & elaborate advertisement campaign is taken up to attract maximum visitors from the target market. IIMTF would serve as a best platform to focus/ promote the products of Malaysia throughout India.

3. The highlights of India International Mega Trade Fair are as follows:

• It is a Major Fair in India, approved by ITPO, (Ministry of Commerce, Government of India).
• It will have 18 Air-conditioned pavilions dedicated to different products/subjects in Kolkata and 14 A.C. pavilions         in the other cities.
• Attractive ambience of the exhibition site. The total area of the fair is 400,000 sq. ft. approx.
• Unmatched extensive publicity through Print and Electronic Media, Outdoor Media, hoardings, etc.
• Impressive footfalls. Last year the Fair had approx. 900,000 visitors in Kolkata, in Bhubaneswar, the Fair had 800,000 visitors and in Ranchi the Fair had 750,000 visitors.
• Last year 17 countries and 19 States had participated in the IIMTF in Kolkata. This year, 20 countries and 22 States are expected to participate in this Fair.
• The Fair is jointly organised by Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry, India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML), Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce & Industry, other organizations and G. S. Marketing Associates–all leaders in their respective fields.
• More than 900 companies participated in the IIMTF in Kolkata last year. Out of this approx. 400 were foreign participants and the remaining were Indian Companies.
• In each stall the organisers shall provide one table, two chairs, three spot lights, one 15 amp plug point, one dustbin and wall to wall carpet in an A.C Pavilion.
• The IIMTF in Delhi – NCR will be held at India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida which is the biggest & best exhibition venue in India. Participation of 1500 participants from India & abroad is expected.
