1. The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council is organizing source India (Reverse Buyer Seller Meets) from 13 – 14 August, 2016 at Surat, Gujarat, India.

2. During the meet, over 100 member-exporters/manufacturer-exporters of the Council will be exhibiting their latest range of Synthetic & Rayon Textile items including fabrics, home-textiles, made-ups, yarn & fibre. The two day Mega Textile Show in Surat is primarily aimed towards aggressive selling of Indian MMF Textiles to the highly potential buyers from the emerging markets in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, & South American Region.

3. The objective of holding the Mega Export Promotion Programme in Surat is to showcase Surat, as the leading centre of production of Synthetic Fabrics in India, and to highlight the Council’s initiative of “Focus Surat” to further develop this thriving textile Centre, as a hub of production and exports of Synthetic fabrics in India. A core group of selected buyers invited for the Meet will be provided subsidized return air tickets / complimentary hotel accommodation in Surat for the period of the Meet. This unique Reverse Buyer Seller Meet is being funded under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme of Government of India and supported by the Ministries of Commerce & Industry, and Textiles.

4. The buyers may be selected based on the following criteria:

• Only leading companies importing Synthetic and Rayon textiles in large quantities be invited. (Turnover may be checked)
• Only one representative of a company shall be eligible for subsidized air fare and hotel accommodation.
• The representative should be Owner/Director/Senior Manager, as stated by the Director or Owner or certified by the company.
• The company may also be recommended by the local textile industry / Trade Bodies.
• Buyers from different sectors shall be invited 9e.g. those who deal in fabrics, or made-ups, or yarn or fibre etc.)
• The selected companies should be reputed ones without any adverse reports about their business dealings.
