NOTICE

1. The High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur invites Expression of Interest from established packing and cargo handling companies for empanelment. Interested companies are requested to furnish their company profile and list of some of their regular clients in Malaysia. If they’ve been handling cargoes of diplomatic Missions, the same may also be indicated.

2. Interested companies are also requested to furnish rates for the following services:

1. Packing of household effects (including packing material and labour charges for packing) per 100 kgs.
2. Charges on lift van/container stuffing if not included in above charges.
3. Transportation charges to residence for packing and collection back to airport/seaport in Kuala Lumpur, as may be the case.
4. Haulage of container.
5. Custom documentation, forwarding, port/airport freight charges.
6. Banker adjustment factor, currency adjustment factor or any other charges in course of handling the incoming or out-going consignment.
7. Transit and marine insurance

Scope of work would include handling shipment of domestic items, vehicles and other bulk cargo of that nature.

3. Interested companies are requested to furnish the information by e-mail toadmn@indianhighcommission.com.my by September 08, 2016. Kindly note that submission of Expression of Interest doesn’t guarantee automatic empanelment. The High Commission reserves the right to decide on empanelment as per its own rules and regulations.
