Invitation for applications for financial assistance from the
Indian Scholarship & Trust Fund (ISTF) – 2014-15

• The Indian Scholarship & Trust Fund (ISTF) had been providing financial assistance to Malaysian students of Indian origin studying at Universities, Colleges, Polytechnics and institutions in Malaysia. The High Commission is now receiving applications for scholarships under ISTF for the academic year 2014-15. Please note that the scholarship does NOT cover the full cost of studies.

• Applications with required enclosures may kindly be sent at the following address:

• Eligibility Criteria: Students pursuing Diploma and Bachelor courses in Universities, Colleges, Polytechnics and institutions in Malaysia can apply for the scholarship. Please note: i) Students pursuing Masters and higher level courses are not eligible for the scholarship; ii) Previous recipients of ISTF are also not eligible to re-apply; iii) Only one student from a family can receive financial assistance from the ISTF in an academic year.
• Applications received with postmark after 14th August 2014 will not be considered for granting ISTF scholarship.
• Shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview, and those found suitable would be awarded the financial assistance from the ISTF.
