1. M/s IVS GLOBAL Services Pvt Ltd will be the new service provider for passport/other consular services w.e.f. August 6, 2014, the current service provider; M/s VFS International would be closing all its operations with regard to passport/consular services in the evening of August 5, 2014. 

2. Application in person viz. ‘walk in application’ will be accepted by VFS International till the morning of August 5, 2014.  Applications sent through posts would also be accepted until August 5, 2014. 

3. Applicants who have already submitted their applications to VFS International may check their online status of the applications from VFS International website till August 5, 2014.

5. As agreed by the High Commission M/s IVS GLOBAL Services Pvt Ltd will be charging a service fee of RM9.50 for every courier service provided. They will also be providing optional value added services, namely courier delivery (RM6), photography (RM0.50- per copy), photographs (RM12 for 4 photographs), and text messaging (3 to 5 cents) on request basis.
