6th ACT EAST BUSINESS SHOW

24th-28th February 2021 (Virtual Seminars & Exhibition)

Indian High Commission is pleased to inform that  the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the leading institution of trade and business in the Eastern and North Eastern region of India and is engaged in facilitating growth of trade and commerce in the region. Activities of ICC are geared towards balanced growth of the region in close association with its SE Asian neighbors. Its efforts towards realizing the organizational vision has been consistent and complimentary to the initiatives undertaken under various Central and State Government policies. ICC’s North-East Initiative has gained a new momentum and dynamism over the last few years, and the Chamber has been hugely successful in spreading awareness about the great economic potential of the North-East at national and international levels.  ICC has a special focus upon India’s trade & commerce relations with the South & South-East Asian nations, in sync with India’s ‘Act East’ Policy, and has played a key role in building synergies between India and her South East Asian neighbors through Trade & Business Delegation Exchanges and large Investment Summits.

The previous Business Shows in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 have been hugely successful in highlighting the potential of the North East region as a gateway to India’s south eastern neighborhood and played a pivotal role in bringing into focus the inherent strengths of the host States along with active participation of many South East Asian countries over the years.

The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is organizing the 6th Act East Business Show, which will be held from 24th-28th February 2021 (Virtual Seminars & Exhibition).

Highlights of the Business Show:

  • Multi-product Exhibition & Promotion over 5 days.
  • International participation from South East Asian Countries
  • B2B Meets & Roundtable discussions
  • Focused one to one meetings with State Govts., ULB’s, Multilateral & International organizations
  • Seminars to highlight potential of North East Region as a Gateway to South East Asian countries addressed by Govt. representatives, Industry leaders & experts.

It is expected, that this initiative will open the doors to a new understanding of the diverse states of North East India among stakeholders from other parts of India as well as the countries of South East Asia thus adding new dimensions for sustainable growth, development and regional partnership. We invite participation of Government and Private Organisations from Malaysia in the Virtual Exhibition by putting-up a Stall (per stall @ 160 $).
