International Business Opportunities for SMEs

1.         SME Chamber of India and Maharashtra Industrial and Economic Development Association (MIEDA) are organizing National Seminar on “International Business Opportunities for SMEs” on Friday, 22nd April 2016, at Pune jointly with SME Technology Development Council and India International Trade Centre (Investment and Trade Promotion Organization – recognized & Supported by Government of India).

2.         This Seminar will provide unique opportunity to highlight on  Bi-lateral Trade, In & out bound Investment, international business collaborations, joint ventures, technology transfers, contract manufacturing tie-ups, exchange of know-how and strategic business partnership opportunities between Indian and overseas SMEs and companies. This will also emphasis on the procedures, formalities, legal aspects, methods of identification of business partners, domestic and overseas funding avenues for new projects, obtaining government & regulatory clearances and the incentives available from Government Departments and FIs. More than 500 SMEs from Manufacturing Sector have registered at this seminar.

3.         This will accomplish the interest created during ‘Make-in-India’ initiative by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India in recent exhibition and conferences as well as many Indian SMEs have shown interest for International Co-operation strategies and opportunities with overseas companies.

4.         SME Chamber of India and Maharashtra Industrial and Economic Development Association (MIEDA) has requested to share information related “Strategic Business Partnership, Joint Ventures, Technology Transfer, contract Manufacturing Tie-ups, In & Out bound investments and Bi-lateral Trade Opportunities” for Indian SMEs in Malaysia.
