Additional visa outsource centres at Ipoh, Seremban and Melaka from 02.06.2014

The High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur will be starting three additional Visa Outsource Centres in Malaysia, namely at Ipoh, Seremban and Melaka, with effect from June 2, 2014. The total number of Centres will now be six, including the existing three Centres at Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor Bahru. This initiative of the Government of India is to ensure the least inconvenience to Malaysian nationals travelling to India. We expect the cooperation of all concerned.

These centres will be located at the following address:

1. KUALA LUMPUR  : G-01, Ground Floor, Straits trading Building, No. 2
Lebuh Pasar Besar, 50050 Kuala Lumpur
2. PENANG  : No. 105, Lebuh Chulia, 10200 Penang
3. JOHOR BAHRU : Unit M-03, Mezz Floor (Ground Floor) Menara Tjb, No 9, Jalan Syed Mohd Mufti, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor.
4. IPOH   : No.120, Jalan Sultan Yusuf, 30000, Ipoh, Perak
5. MALACCA  : No.2B, Jalan Temenggong, 75000 Melaka 
6. SEREMBAN : Suite No. 10, Second Floor, Lucky Plaza, Jalan Dato Lee ,Fong Yee, 70000 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan     

With the opening of these additional Visa Outsource Centres, visa seekers need not visit Kuala Lumpur for submitting their visa applications or providing the biometric data. They can avail the facilities arranged at any of the above mentioned 6 cities for submitting India visa applications and to collect the visa. Efforts are also being made to open Centres at more cities and information regarding that will be intimated in due course.

Please be advised that with effect from June 2, 2014, capture of biometric data is being made mandatory for all Indian visa seekers.
