Temporary suspension of High Commission of India for public dealings, except Indian Nationals

In accordance with the Restriction on Movement Order dated 16 March 2020, announced by the Malaysian Government and subsequent advisory vide Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Public dealings at the High Commission of India would remain suspended till the restrictions are in place, except for Indian Nationals seeking emergency assistance.

Indian Nationals requiring emergency assistance may contact the 24 x 7 Helpline/ whatsapp (+60 18 3196715 or Email Id hciklcrt2020@gmail.com) for assistance. Prior appointment is necessary meet the concerned official to seek such emergency assistance.

It is further notified that as per directive received from Government of India dated 17 March 2020, no passenger, including Indian Nationals, will be allowed to travel from Malaysia to India till the restrictions are in place.

Additional Travel Advisory for Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

In continuation of the travel advisory issued on 11^th March, 2020 and 16^th March, 2020, the following additional advisory is issued:

Travel of passengers from Afghanistan, Philippines, Malaysia to India is prohibited with immediate effect. No flight shall take off from these countries to India after 1500 hours Indian Standard Time (IST). The airline shall enforce this at the port of initial departure.

This instruction is a temporary measure and shall be in force till 31st March 2020 and will be reviewed subsequently.
