Notice regarding Visa/Consular & Passport Services
Further to High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur’s earlier notifications dated 18 March 2020, 07 May 2020, 10 June 2020, 19 June 2020 and 22 October 2020 regarding temporary suspension of regular Visa, Consular and Passport services due to implementation of Movement Control Order (MCO) by the Government of Malaysia.
- In light of the fresh MCO imposed by the Government of Malaysia, please be advised that all regular Passport / Emergency Certificate and attestation of documents will be provided through M/s BLS only. Applicants seeking Passport / Emergency certificate and document attestation related services may please contact M/s BLS International Ltd at 0326021474 OR via Email: info.my@blsinternational.net.
- Please be advised that due to large volume of applications anticipated for regular passports (caused by suspension of regular passport services from 18 March 2020 due to MCO/ restrictions in the wake of COVID-19) , there may be some delay beyond the normal processing time, in the grant of passport.
- All applicants, including from East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak) are advised to submit their passport application with requisite fee to Passport / Consular Services Application Centre (PCSAC) i.e. M/s BLS International Ltd at the address given below:

- For Tatkal Passport application, the applicants may kindly approach High Commission of India for appointment via email: cons2.kl@mea.gov.in or cons1.kl@mea.gov.in. On the day of appointment, documents will be scrutinized at the High Commission before deposition of the documents along with required fees at BLS.
- Please note thatvisa services are only being extended to certain categories of foreign nationals, on a case to case basis subject to extant GOI guidelines. For Consular services and Visa related enquiries, applicants are requested to seek appointment with the High Commission of India via Email: visa.kl@mea.gov.in. Once approved, applicants may then submit their forms at the High Commission at the given date/time.
- Please be advised that OCI applications of foreign nationals would be processed only on case to case basis. Desirous foreign nationals are requested to forward their applications to High Commission of India via Email: visa.kl@mea.gov.in, for screening. Once approved, applicants would be informed and they may then submit their forms at the High Commission of India at the given date/time.
- Applicants are required to adhere to necessary health / social distancing measures including mask, gloves etc. and strictly maintain the required inter-personal distance of one meter while visiting the High Commission premises.
