IISc, Bangalore’s mid-term PhD admission

for international students (Session: March 2021)

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore was established in 1909, and is a premier scientific research and higher education institution. IISc’s mid-term PhD admission for international students (Session: March 2021) is now open, details of which are available at https://oir.iisc.ac.in/index.php/mid-term-phd-program-admission-march-2021-session.

• Key features of the PhD programme are:

• There is no application fee.

• All admitted PhD programme students will receive a scholarship / stipend from the institute.

• Hostel accommodation is provided within the campus.

• Perfect environment for basic, innovative, and interdisciplinary research.

• The online portal to apply for the mid-term PhD programme is open from 2^nd November to 18^th December 2020. An online interactive session on admission to the programme would be held on 23^rd November 2020, and interviews would be conducted from 25^th December 2020 to 8^th January 2021, the results of which would be declared on 15^th January 2021. The programme commences on 1^st March 2021.
