• Click/select option “Registration of Birth child under section 4(1) - last option
• Upload the documents (photo & birth certificate of the child; marriage certificate, parents passports and signature of the parents)
• Marriage certificate (with English Translation) authenticated by MOFA, Malaysia. For Indian marriage certificate issued by Muslim jammath or other non gov dept should be notarized by MEA, in India.
• Submit the application online and take two copies of the application after its online submission (a ref No will be allotted ONLINE).
• Passports of both parents and copies of their passports (1st and last pages and visa page)
• 4 passport size photographs with light background

Note: Birth registration and application for new passport can be submitted together. If parents of the baby are not entitled to have dependent visa for the child, only Emergency Certificate will be issued to the child after registration of birth.

[It is compulsory to upload photograph of the child and signature of one of the parents (who/the parent should be an Indian national) and then take print of the duly filled in Form I (Part I as well as Part II) and enclosed (Form I) with the passport application. Part II of the form I should be signed by one of the parents, who should be an Indian national.]
